The year is 1999. The place is Godfield, Louisiana: the tech capital of the world, where the sky bleeds acid and the mud boils in the bayou. It’s time for your state-mandated digital therapy.
Computerfriend is a text-based interactive fiction game by Kit Riemer. 20-60 minute playtime, 6 endings. You can download it here or play it in your browser at the 2022 Spring Thing IF festival if you like.

I loved this - brilliantly unsettling, visceral prose coupled with evocative graphics. Got ending 3/6 and very intrigued to try out the others!

(seriously thought this is really cool. evocative writing . played the misery tourism version though idk the differences)
hearing reports my browser is not quote "reputable." hate to see this kind of discrimination in the arts
